PAPER and staking
Losses mint PAPER. Stake it to earn rewards, paid in USDC to your trading balance.
Minting
When a trade closes at a loss or is liquidated, Papertrade mints PAPER to you at its current rate. The amount shows on the trade’s result and in your account. Practice trades don’t mint PAPER.
Auto-stake
Auto-stake new PAPER is on by default. Once you have 1,000 PAPER or more that isn’t staked, it is staked for you in the background, with no prompts. You can switch it off in your account.
Unstaking
Choose Unstake in your account and pick an amount in whole PAPER, or use 25%, 50% or All. One unstake runs at a time. Unstaked PAPER stops earning rewards, and auto-stake leaves it alone.
Rewards
Staking rewards are paid in USDC. When rewards are ready, press Claim and they’re added to your trading balance. There is no minimum. Claims show in your deposit history as Reward.
PAPER may not be transferable and may have little or no value. Staking rewards are not guaranteed.
